Veterinary referral
The veterinary may refer by...

suggesting that the client makes contact with us directly
and with their veterinary referral letter or referral email. (This is the most
common procedure)

writing a letter (or email) with their opinion on the behaviour in question
to the Behaviour Practitioner
-
telephoning the practitioner to present the behaviour case and book
an appointment on behalf of the client

simply referring the client verbally to our web site for information

and which you may print out for your referral and client.
The Canine & Feline Behaviour Association is accepted by pet
insurance companies who offer cover for behaviour problems and meets
their criteria for competence and excellence.
The CFBA is a member of the Pet
Education Behaviour & Training Council of Great Britain
and operates under its rules for behaviour practitioners and abides
by the Companion
Animal Welfare Council codes and is registered with The
Registration Council for Dog Training and Behavioural Practitioners
which has continued the work of CAWC regarding implementing the
codes.
