Tracey has spent her life working with dogs. Upon leaving school, she attended College and completed her National Certificate in Animal Care which covered kennel and cattery management, animal husbandry, grooming and first aid.

From this beginning, Tracey continued her training in grooming undertaking a course with the International Training School for Canine Beauticians. This enabled her to establish her own successful dog grooming business in the south west. Throughout her work, many of her clients would talk about the behaviour and training difficulties they were having with their dogs and Tracey found her self delivering sound, common sense advice based on her hands-on knowledge learnt over many years of dog handling and grooming.

Tracey found this area of the canine world fascinating and decided to begin studying the subject by completing a course in canine behaviour and psychology.

Tracey has continued with education and is currently studying for her BA (hons) degree in dog behaviour and training with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training. Tracey is a member of the Institute of Animal Care and Education and a Master Trainer with The Guild of Dog Trainers. Tracey now works as a full-time pet dog trainer and behaviour practitioner i offering advice to clients on how to deal with diverse behavioural and training issues. Tracey is also passionate about helping people to overcome their fears or distrust of dogs and works with children and adults in this regard.
