Nicola works alongside Charlie Clarricoates as a dog trainer seeing clients from the South East of England.

Her main area of experience is offering behavioural advice to clients with adult dogs, including rescued dogs, which have a variety of unwanted behaviours. These dogs have often had little or no training or socialisation. She also gives advice on the prevention of behavioural problems in the younger dog/puppy.

Nicola sees clients with all breeds of dogs but, having lived with Leonbergers and Irish Wolfhounds for many years, has a particular interest in the behavioural problems and associated training needs for the larger breed dog. She has recently set up dedicated large breed agility classes with large breed equipment.

Nicola's personal experience with her dogs has seen her successfully train them for the obedience ring, show ring, agility and water rescue work. Her first class degree in Behavioural Studies has also helped her to gain an understanding of the complex link between dog behaviour and the human relationship.
