Lez Graham runs 'Trained For Life' and works full time as a canine behaviour practitioner. Aside from her busy consultancy, she also runs weekly gundog training classes and specialised gundog training days.

As a behaviour practitioner, her focus is to show people how, through changing their own behaviour and attitude towards their dog, their dog's behaviour and attitude towards them will change. By expecting your dog to be well behaved and then enforcing it positively and in a way your dog understands, you end up with a dog that is looking to you for guidance and leadership.
As a gundog trainer, Lez focuses on steadiness and obedience. By bringing the behaviour element into her gundog training her handlers get a deeper understanding of why we train the gundog the way we do.
Lez has competed in Working Tests in the UK, Gundog field tests in New Zealand, competition obedience and 'works' both of her gundogs during the shooting season. One of her most exhilarating learning experiences was having the privilege of working 'hands on' as a kinesiologist with an adult, alpha male, European wolf and spending time with a small pack of juvenile wolves whilst studying all aspects of canine behaviour.
Lez is about to publish her second book 'The Advanced Pet Gundog' which is a training sequel to her first book The Pet Gundog.
Lez is one of only three people in the UK to achieve her MA in Professional Practice (Canine Behaviour & Psychology) is a Master Trainer with the Guild of Dog Trainers and is also the Guild's Education and Development Officer.
In addition, Lez is a specialist dog handler with the Dog Safety Education Executive.
