Lara is a Feline Behaviour Practitioner based in County Down, Northern Ireland. Together with Heather Siribor she runs a Cat Behaviour Consultancy called “Feline Fix Its”. They are the first Feline Associate Practitioners to be recognised by CFBA, and the only two recognised in Northern Ireland.
Lara has worked for several years in feline rescue and welfare, currently at management level. Her aim is to offer cat owners advice and support which has not previously been available, in the hope that cats are not needlessly handed over to shelters for rehoming, when so many issues can be resolved and the owner's relationship with their cat can be restored. She has particular experience in helping owners settle new cats into their homes, and with nervous or traumatised cats. She is a member of all 3 major cat clubs in Northern Ireland.
Lara is studying “ Advanced Cat Behaviour and Psychology” with the Cambridge Institute and plans to take several more courses. She owns four rescued cats (from 1 year old up to 20 years old) and a Siamese kitten. |
