Julie has been training dogs
and practicing in behavioural therapy for the past eighteen
years and has spent many years specialising in the canine-human
interface.
Julie owns Tibetan
Terriers and a German Shepherd Northern Inuit crossbreed.
Particular fields of interests include showing the Tibetan
Terriers, and obedience training her own dogs in various disciplines.
A number of years
ago Julie began developing mind exercises through training
as a means of extra mental stimulus for dogs. This innovation
was hugely successful and Julie began using the new training
as a means of reshaping behavioural problems in clients’
dogs.
Julie’s has
trained dogs for a number of television appearances including
Blue Peter, S Club TV, Animals Do The Funniest Things, and
BBC Crufts Series. At The Kennel Club’s invitation Julie
has made appearances at Crufts and Discover Dogs, demonstrating
and educating audiences for five years in a row.
