Jo Crosby Deakin ACFBA Canine Behaviour

Jo has been involved with dogs for almost 15 years. This includes; training, showing and breeding Weimaraners.  She currently shares her home with 3 Weimaraners and a Rottweiler and works full time as a Canine Behaviour Practitioner and Trainer.

Jo is recommended by local vets and deals with all manner of behavioural problems, but specialises in rehabilitating dogs with aggression issues either to people or other dogs.  Her belief that teaching an owner to understand their dog restores and improves the relationship allowing both to relax and enjoy life to the full.

Jo is eager to educate the next generation of dog owners and runs specialist clicker training classes for 6-16 year olds.  She also organises talks and demonstrations at schools and youth groups about safety around dogs. Jo feels that by educating the younger generation we will hopefully be able to ensure that the amount of dog bites is reduced, that animals are cared for properly and children will understand that a dog is a lifelong commitment not a fad and that the relationship between dog and owner will bring fun laughter and love.

Jo is a Master Trainer with the Guild of Dog Trainers and is in the process of completing her Kennel Club Accreditation.  Jo is also a Reiki Practitioner and a trained canine hydrotherapist.  She believes that education should be ongoing and ensures that both herself and her team of instructors continue their learning to bring the very best to their clients.

She has run K9 Solutions, a training and behaviour practice in Essex and the South East since 2003, offering puppy social skills workshops, pet dog obedience, childrens classes, rehabilitation groups, 1-2-1 training and behaviour consultations both in clients homes and also at The Pet Spa, Harrods, Knightsbridge.
