COURSES MAGAZINE DVD - FILMS CFBA TEAM LINKS

Jan has been working and studying with dogs for the past fourteen years and runs her own business in Lincolnshire. Although having different breeds over the years she now has a keen interest in terriers.

Jan's area of expertise is working in behavioural reformation with adult dogs and puppies. Jan believes that if you fully utilise the critical development periods in the young dog that behavioural problems can be prevented and the dog and owner will have a stronger bond and a mutually enjoyable and more rewarding relationship.

Whilst running her Puppy socialisation lessons and training courses from her local Veterinary Clinic, she also tries to impart a deeper understanding of canine behaviour to give families a ‘bigger picture'. She also offers one to one training for puppies and adult dogs in her local area.

Jan also helps with the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme training courses for bronze, silver and gold levels.

Jan continues to study dog behaviour and canine interactions through training sessions and has taken part in numerous studies in dog behaviour with Brazilian and Swiss Veterinary Behaviourists.

As an area coordinator for the Charity Dog Lost, Jan specialises in rehabilitating and integrating reunited dogs into their homes and has recently been asked to help in the capacity as a behavioural adviser.

She is currently also studying with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training (CIDBT).
