Heather's works as a feline behaviour
practitioner and works to enable people to have a better relationship
with their cats and to provide advice and support as an alternative
option to rehoming.
Heather's interest in cats started over thirty years ago, when she was “owned by her first cat” . It was from that time Heather became interested in all things feline and her lifelong learning and study began. She discovered the cat show arena first with her moggies and later with the breed she still owns to the present day; British Shorthairs.
Heather currently works full time at a local animal sanctuary looking after the adult cats and her hobby and passion is continuing to show with her two Grand Champion British Shorthair and Rio her rescue boy.
Heather is also a member of all three Northern Ireland Cat Clubs.
At present, Heather is working through the Advanced Feline Behaviour and Psychology course with the Cambridge Institute and in the future intend to pursue further courses related to this field.
