Faye Litherland
specialises in the rehabilitation and training of dogs that
have behavioural problems ranging from aggression to basic
manners. Faye’s focus is on building better relationships
between people and their dogs, therefore putting the joy back
into dog ownership. Frequently, Faye is the last resort for
owners who are unable to cope any longer with their problem
pet. She also works with dogs that are subject to control
orders under the Dangerous Dogs Act.
Faye also works with several
dog rescue organisations both as a foster carer and behaviour
advisor. Her work includes both one-to-one on-site rehabilitation
for dogs and behavioural advice and consultations for foster
carers or owners of recently re-homed dogs who are experiencing
difficulties.
Faye runs “Wags and Bones”
which offers one-to-one behaviour consultations, group behaviour
sessions, and both group and individual obedience training
classes. Her classes focus on obedience training by helping
people to understand how dogs learn and what motivates them.
Faye is currently studying for
her BA (Hons) degree in dog behaviour and training with the
Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training.
